After watching the video (above) it becomes clear that Allah Almighty rejects racism in the following verses:
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلاَفُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَلْوَانِكُمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لآياتٍ لِلْعَالِمِينَ – الروم: 22
And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of your languages and colours. Verily, in that are indeed signs for men of sound knowledge. (Quran 30:22)
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثَى وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ – الحجرات: 13
“Oh, men! Behold, We have created you all out of a male and a female, and have made you into nations and tribes, so that you might come to know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted. (Quran 49:13)
And amongst his miracles is that you have different languages and you have different skin colours. Explicitly, Allah mentions this is of my design, this is of my intention, I made you different amongst yourself but why? To know one another!
We are supposed to have respect for different races because Allah called races themselves, different colours of skins themselves a divine sign, a sign of himself, a reminder of himself.
So when people look at the colour of skin and consider someone inferior or superior, a hated race or loved race, then that itself is a denial of the ayats (verses/signs) of Allah.
So read all the places in Quran where Allah says: “Those who disbelieve in our Ayats”, “Those who disregard our Ayats”, “Those who don’t care about our Ayats”, “Those who lie against our Ayats”, “Those who don’t consider our Ayats”, then these are the Ayats too.
A person’s skin is an Ayah too. And if you don’t respect a person who has a different skin than you then you are disregarding an Ayah of Allah. What a powerful teaching of Quran, what a powerful way to combat racism. Therefore, how you can call yourself a Muslim and you have racist tendencies, how can you do that?
So what are we learning?
People who are racist and still call themselves Muslims, can’t possibly be knowledgeable.
