وَلاَ تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ
And that ye slay not the life which Allah hath made sacred, save in the course of justice. (Quran 6:151)
مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا
Whoever takes a life—unless as a punishment for murder or mischief in the land—it will be as if they killed all of humanity. (Quran 5:32)
